- Press the * key on the phone
- Plug the power back in while still pressing the * key - you will see a * and two bars
- Press #5*5 to reset it and reboot it.
- Now all your system settings have been restored, except the IP configuration.
The Phone is setup with a default static IP Address of 192.168.1.100. Put the phone onto a network in this IP address range or Press the LOCIP to display the current IP address - if it is 0.0.0.0 then the phone is configured to use DHCP and can be connected to the network otherwise press the Speaker button+12341+LOClIP button in that sequence - this will set the phone to use DHCP and automatically reboot.

Step 3: To perform factory reset: For earlier firmware versions a. Press the MENU button for Key Pad Menu options. b. Press the Down arrow button to see “reset”. c. Enter the encoded MAC address. d. Press the MENU button again. e. Wait for phone reboot and the LCD backlight finish flashing.
For later firmware version a. Press the MENU button for Key Pad Menu options. b. Press the Down arrow button to see “config”. c. Press the Down arrow button to see “Factory Reset”. d. Press the Left arrow button to enter the MAC address field e. Enter the encoded MAC address. f. Press the MENU button. g. Press the MENU button again. h. Wait for phone reboot and the LCD backlight finish flashing.

Firmware Version Polycom Default Admin Username = Polycom Default Admin password = 456 To get into the web interface, the default username/password is "Polycom"/"456" (Note that this does not work with Safari 1.2.2.) To get into the Admin interface on the hard phone, the password is "456". (Prior to v1.3.1, the web interfaces to the phone uses "Polycom"/"SpIp" as the username/password.)
